Duration: 2 hours

Transport your students back in time with this interactive educational program focusing on the Golden Age of Exploration. Students will practice historical thinking through primary source analysis. Museum educators guide discussion focused on the Old and New Worlds, different cultural groups, and the impact European culture had on the Americas. Students will handle reproduction artifacts and engage in a Columbian Exchange simulation. They will also have the opportunity to explore the Museum and engage with objects that connect to the classroom portion.

Pricing:

Payment can be made before the program, or we can invoice following your program.

  • Programs at the Museum are $4.50 per student.
    All adults accompanying a field trip are free.
  • Programs at your location are $4.50 per student.
  • Virtual education programs are $125 per program.

Reservations are required for all programs and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Programs fill quickly in the fall and spring, so make your reservations a minimum of two weeks in advance.
