You may be more familiar with their moniker ā€œOld Bay Line.ā€ One of the items I digitized was the menu for the Baltimore Steam Packet Companyā€™s centennial celebration dinner on May 23, 1940.

    This week ā€œin the Land of Submarinesā€ weā€™re focusing on documenting the Japanese submarine Nishimura 3746. Previously we talked about its history and our initial assessment of the hull. All this activity is in preparation of moving the sub onto a custom cradle and to a new home.

  • Red Cross Blood Drive

    Thursday, July 20, 2023 to Friday, July 21, 2023 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM

    The Marinerā€™s Museum and Park is partnering with the American Red Cross this summer to serve as a host site for a critical blood drive. Blood supplies are low nationwide, and donors of ALL blood types are always needed. Ā
