About the Lecture
Major General George McClellan’s concepts of combined operations nearly enabled the United States to win the war in 1862. McClellan helped to organize Burnside’s Roanoke Island Expedition, Farragut’s Capture of New Orleans, and his own 1862 Peninsula Campaign.
