Learn about the complex steps involved in conserving historical artifacts, including parts of the USS Monitor. Conservators use many different tools to see what cannot be seen by the naked eye. X-radiography is one of these tools, and can help us see ‘through’ objects, and can even help us to literally unlock their secrets. Come learn about the use of x-rays in the museum collection! The activity will be held on the ground floor of the Batten Conservation Complex.
