If you need help (757) 591-7796 or visit the Security Office at the Business Entrance of the Museum. 

For your safety, please keep our Mariners’ Park rules and policies in mind during your visit. 

The following rules protect both the Lake and Park environments and help keep our pleasant, family atmosphere.

• No motorcycles, bicycles, or trail bikes are allowed on the Noland Trail.
• No fishing from shore or bridges allowed anywhere on park property.
• For the comfort of all Park visitors and the protection of wildlife, dogs must be on leashes at all times. Please be sure to clean up after your pet.
• The piloting of drones or UAV’s is prohibited on Museum premises.
• Find trash cans throughout the Park for your convenience. 
• For the safety of visitors and environmental reasons, fires of any kind are prohibited. 
• Swimming and wading in the Lake are not allowed.
• The use of any drugs, alcoholic beverages, littering, and open fires are prohibited.
• Visitors are expected to observe all applicable Museum, city, state, and federal rules, regulations, and laws.
• Weapons are not permitted.
• “Leave No Trace” is an important principle we follow in Mariners’ Park. As the saying goes, take only pictures, leave only footprints. Please dispose of your trash in one of the many receptacles located throughout the Park. Do not attempt to feed wildlife, and please leave plants, rocks, and other interesting objects where you found them for everyone to enjoy.

Porta Potties are located:

• At the back of the parking lot adjacent to the entrance to the Noland Trail
• In the Harvey Field parking lot
• In Williams Field, near the outdoor pavilion
