2010 Teacher Workshop
June 28-30 and August 2-4
Take a day out of your summer to enrich your students’ learning all year long!
Summer Teacher Workshops are designed to provide Virginia instructors with new insights into creating more engaging and stimulating lesson plans for their students. Each day-long session will focus on essential historical facts that the teacher can take back to the classroom. Emphasis will be placed on events of the past and their continued impact through time.

WORKSHOPS CAN BE TAKEN FOR RECERTIFICATION POINTS.
The fee of $40 per workshop or $100 for all three includes teaching materials, a catered lunch and admission to The Mariners’ Museum. Teachers will receive $5 off one session or $10 off the three-program rate if you register by March 15th.
